New SlimLine 38-HI+ windows are ready for the future

Why choose between exceptional performance or slim aesthetics when you can have both? Introducing SlimLine 38 High Insulation +, Reynaers Aluminium’s latest window solution. Building on the success of the SlimLine 38 series, these inward and outward opening windows combine passive comfort levels with a minimalistic steel look. Low-carbon materials help reduce the system’s impact on our planet, making SlimLine 38-HI+ both a futureproof and responsible choice.

Comfort and aesthetics in one

SlimLine 38-HI+ matches minimalistic architectural trends while complying to new build energy standards. The innovative windows have a larger system depth than the standard SlimLine 38 solution; as a result, they offer passive insulation levels (Uw down to 0.74 W/m²K), but with the same elegant steel look people know and love. And at a very competitive price rate, too.

The high-performance solution can create 3-metre-tall opening vents in all popular SlimLine 38 design variants (Classic, Cubic, Ferro), including the new Functional design. Combine the slender windows with any MasterLine 8 flush door variant - both inward and outward opening -, including the residential pivot door. To top it all off, SlimLine 38-HI+ has been burglarproof certified (RC 2 + PAS24) for additional peace of mind.

SlimLine 38-HI+ windows combine the best of both worlds: slim sightlines and incredible passive-level performance.

Ease of assembly in every detail

SlimLine 38-HI+ has been designed with swift and fail-safe production in mind. The system features glass supports with large ridges for additional strength, without compromising the slender aesthetics. Grooves in the aluminium profiles enable optimal drainage and ensure the glass supports are always positioned in the correct way, without failure. Since air tightness is key, the windows can only be installed with concealed hinges, which reduces the amount of stock items.

To allow water to drain freely and to ease fabrication even more, dedicated drainage pieces have been developed. The insulator profile can be cut in straight sections and can be easily snapped into place. The same decompression pieces of the standard SlimLine 38 system have been re-used, giving the windows a qualitative finish, avoiding messy work with sealants and ensuring flawless assembly every time. And by reducing the chance of mistakes in the workshop, end users always enjoy the highest quality at home.

A futureproof sustainable choice

Arend Jespers, Team Leader Product Management, believes that with this latest development, Reynaers Aluminium has introduced a unique window system that stands out for multiple reasons. “The new HI+ window system builds on the SlimLine 38 series’ strong foundation and takes it to a whole new level” says Jespers. “When designing new building solutions, we always take sustainable properties into account. For instance, this light-weight solution uses 100% recycled insulation bars and minimal amounts of EPDM, which gives SlimLine 38-HI+ one of the lowest embodied carbon footprints within our system range. And since this solution can achieve passive energy levels, it can reduce your buildings’ operational carbon impact even more.” Additionally, the new window system has recently been awarded a Cradle to Cradle® Bronze certificate, a further testimony to its innovative circular design.

In the end, slim aesthetics and exceptional performance come together in one futureproof solution. SlimLine 38-HI+ opens a world of opportunities, both for building professionals and homeowners alike. Congratulations to the entire Reynaers Aluminium team and partners who have made this innovation become reality – together, we help shape a brighter future.
