IMED Hospital

Valencia - Espagne - 2017

The IMED hospital, located in Valencia, Spain, is a great example of the repurposing of an old office building. The building consists out of two cylinders, connected with a large walkway on the 9th and 10th level. Key for the 217 rooms was the exploitation of natural light and the latest technologies. To improve the energy efficiency, a metallic exterior cladding was added to the exterior.
